Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any services offered through it by Charlie, Foot Health Practitioner (“I”, “me”, “my”). By accessing or using this website, or by booking or receiving any of my services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or book any services.

1. About Me

I am Charlie, a qualified Foot Health Practitioner trained at the SMAE Institute in Maidenhead. I provide foot health assessments, treatments and advice, primarily through home visits. I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS check. I am not a registered podiatrist or medical doctor. My services are complementary and do not replace advice or treatment from a GP, podiatrist or other regulated healthcare professional.

2. Use of This Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems
  • Use the site in any way that could damage, disable or impair it
  • Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive or illegal content
  • Copy, reproduce or distribute content from the site without my prior written permission

I reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the website at any time without notice.

3. Services

I offer Foot Health Practitioner services including (but not limited to) nail care, callus and corn reduction, diabetic foot checks, basic lower-limb assessments and advice on foot health and mobility. Services are usually provided in your home by prior appointment.

All treatments are carried out with appropriate infection-control measures and in accordance with professional standards expected of a Foot Health Practitioner.

I reserve the right to decline or discontinue treatment if, in my professional judgement, it is not safe or appropriate to proceed (for example, due to medical contraindications, aggressive behaviour, or unsuitable home conditions).

4. Bookings and Appointments

Appointments are arranged by mutual agreement, usually by telephone, email or through any booking form on this website. A confirmed booking constitutes a contract between us.

Please provide accurate information about your health, medications and any relevant conditions when booking or at the start of a visit. Failure to do so may affect the safety or effectiveness of treatment.

5. Fees and Payment

Fees will be confirmed at the time of booking. Payment is normally required on the day of the appointment unless otherwise agreed. I accept cash, bank transfer or other methods notified to you in advance.

Prices may change from time to time. Any change will not affect bookings already confirmed at a previous rate.

6. Cancellations and Missed Appointments

If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please give as much notice as possible (ideally at least 24 hours). Late cancellations or failure to be present at the agreed time may result in a cancellation fee, which will be notified to you in advance.

I will always try to give reasonable notice if I need to rearrange an appointment due to illness, emergency or other unforeseen circumstances.

7. Limitation of Liability

While I take every reasonable care in the delivery of my services, Foot Health Practitioner treatments involve inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • I am not liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss arising from the use of this website or my services
  • My total liability for any claim arising from a treatment or advice is limited to the fee paid for that specific appointment
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law

You are responsible for seeking medical advice from a GP or other appropriate professional if you have concerns about your health. My services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.
